Save the date! The Canadian Math Kangaroo Contest will take place on March 24, 2024 in more than 50 locations across Canada. Registration opens in early December 2023. The Canadian Math Kangaroo Contest (CMKC) offers an annual mathematics competition to students in grades 1 to 12, in English and French. It consists of multiple-choice questions that cover content aligned with the school curriculum. The problems are thought-provoking, require a great deal of attention and creative thinking, and cover interesting mathematical concepts. They aim to show the beauty of mathematics. In 2024, teachers can enroll their students to participate online at their school on a weekday – March 21, 2024. CMKC also offers training opportunities for students and professional development workshops for educators. Math and science competitions are great motivating tools for awakening and developing curiosity.
