Governor General’s History Award for Excellence in Teaching 2018

Know an exceptional history teacher?

Nominations for the Governor General’s History Award for Excellence in Teaching are now being accepted.

Each year, six teachers are honoured for their innovative approaches to teaching Canadian history. Teachers receive a cash prize of $2500, an additional $100 for their school, and an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Ottawa to receive their award at Rideau Hall.

Nomination deadline is April 1, 2018.
