WWF-Canada’s Living Planet Report Canada for Kids

by

Kids can explore the stories of six Canadian species, do fun quizzes, watch Q&A videos with WWF-Canada scientist Jessica Currie, and see examples of other kids across the country already taking action to help wildlife using the Living Planet Report Canada for Kids website. Educators can access free downloadable lesson plans that include indoor and outdoor hands-on activities such as drawing habitats, making mock news broadcasts, collecting wildlife observations, or playing food chain tag. Relevant to grade 4, 5, and 6 curricula across Canada, these lessons and activities help kids deepen their understanding of species and ecosystems while practising skills needed to study and protect nature. They can also be adapted for older or younger children. Access the kits at: https://lprckids.wwf.ca/
