The Mega Munsch Writing Challenge

In honour of Annick Press’s 50th anniversary and the 45th anniversary of The Paper Bag Princess, Annick Press and Robert Munsch have announced the Mega Munsch Writing Challenge. Grade 3 students from across Canada are invited to celebrate The Paper Bag Princess by using their imaginations to pick up where the story left off and write what happens next. This nation-wide challenge is open to entries from individual students, groups within a class, or an entire class. Annick Press will provide inspiring classroom resources, including writing prompts and pro tips from Canadian authors. Each of the Mega Munsch Writing Challenge’s five winners will receive a printed book with the winning entries, a note from Robert Munsch, and a certificate.
