Spirit of Math is a private after-school math program for high-performing and gifted students, that is currently open to all students from grades K to 12. In response to school closures during COVID-19, Spirit of Math has fully transitioned to a virtual classroom format with the help of Microsoft Teams. Since the end of March Break, the company has been using the collaboration software to host weekly math lessons for students to keep up with their learning. Parents are encouraged to register their children who are at risk of “learning loss” from being out of school for an extended period.
