Home Activities for Learning and Creativity

Walk into the living room. Turn on the TV. Go into the kitchen for a snack. Back into the living room. Play on the iPad. Look out the window. Go into the kitchen for a drink. Kick a ball a few times. Watch more TV. Time lapsed: 10 minutes. It is easy for kids to get into this routine during this unprecedented time. Staying at home is important, and it’s also a chance for families to bond over educational, fun, and creative activities. To help families with young children, The Mothers Matter Centre is releasing Stay ‘N’ Play daily activity guides. Each week is packed with 30 easy-to-do activities for kids using materials found at home. The activities are carefully selected to support children’s learning and creativity. https://www.mothersmattercentre.ca/stay-n-play
