Climate Kids

For learning about climate change and taking action, Canada’s government has launched a new Climate Kids website. Climate Kids is an interactive website for children and teens aged 8 to 15. The website encourages youth to be part of the solution by making changes in their home, school and community to reduce their carbon footprint for a more sustainable and clean future. Climate Kids is an excellent tool for teachers to use as a supplementary tool for their science and environment curriculums. Starting the conversation about climate change in the classroom will better equip students to be strong leaders, thinkers and problem solvers in the effort towards a cleaner, more thriving Canada. You can take your class on a virtual tour at: ClimateKids.ca
