This book is about how walrus live. One thing that I learned by reading this book is that their babies, called calves, are 165 pounds. They need milk from their mothers for more than a year. Something else that I learned is that bulls and cows are separated into different groups called herds. This is a good book for anyone who is interested in walrus predators, their skeletons and their tusks. Pages 22 and 23 were my favourite pages because the walrus are digging for clams and fish were in the background. The illustrations look real.
