K.I.D.S. – Improving the Future of Children in Developing Countries

Kids International Development Society (K.I.D.S.) works to improve the future of children in developing countries (primarily Cambodia).

K.I.D.S. has a strong focus on education and works to provide books, backpacks, uniforms, and bikes to students. (photo and text from the K.I.D.S. blog)

The founders of K.I.D.S., Adrianne Dartnall and Rick Lennert, fundraise at home in Canada and then personally travel to Asia to assess where the funds will have the most impact. Often literally rolling up their own sleeves and working in partnership with communities, families, and community-based organizations, K.I.D.S. tries to address the needs of each unique situation.

Through the generosity of its supporters and partner organizations, K.I.D.S. funds housing, schools, clean water, medicine, education, and small business grants.  K.I.D.S. also supports local hospitals, orphanages, women’s cooperatives, clinics, and children’s shelters.

If you are looking to support an organization that focuses on children and puts at least 95% of donated funds directly to work in communities, visit kidsdevelopmentsociety.org and http://adrianneandrickatkids.blogspot.ca for more information.
