Focus on Reading is one of six titles in the series: Oxford Key Concepts For The Language Classroom. This title specifically addresses many of the factors involved in teaching second language reading skills to learners aged five to eighteen. The first four chapters provide research results, classroom “snapshots” and activities that will help teachers connect the research to their classroom practice. The final chapter summarizes the content of the book.

Classroom Connections: Focus on Reading is a suitable resource for teachers who are working to develop effective reading and assessment strategies for second language reading students with a variety of learning needs.
