I really liked this book because it teaches you the lesson of having fun with what you do, but also to try to do the best you can. I also liked this book because of the interesting running facts—like drinking pickle juice helps you before a running race. One of my favourite parts is when Jake realizes it’s not all about winning and that he should run for the fun of it. My favourite character is Simon because he doesn’t care if he is first or last. Simon likes to take his time and look at all the scenery while he is running.

I think this book would be a good choice for anyone who really likes running and sports.
